Locked me in for the entirety of the poem. Absolutely excellent post!
I liked this one, so powerful
Thanks for the reblog.
Reblogged this on freeing thoughts.
Wow. This is amazing. Thanks for sharing this.
You’ve got the clap then.
I applaud this post.
Thanks so much!
I don’t think I’ve been drawn in to anything so quickly and completely in a while. You’ve encapsulated the whole of our existence in one very powerful poem and I love it.
This is what I was feeling when I wrote “Nothing ” on my blog but your feeling are expressed so fully and beautifully. I wish I had such talent.
the earth almost stopped spinning,
lacking compulsion to keep it up
until that something appeared mid poem –
thank you for keeping up your nothing
part of the deal!
The poem is beautiful. You give meaning to life and to the things that you do and see and feel and think. A rock is just a rock, until someone says this is from the moon. And that rock has a meaning, not s simple rock on your backyard. I love all your poetry!
Great, lyrical. I see it performed live––slam. Favorite lines: If there was a glass half full/ I would drink the remainder/ To make sure it was empty
Outstanding. I love this.
Nothing to say
Noting the inclusion
of an empty mailbox
spiders long ago left
Wow wow wow! Finding something in nothingness! I have been trying to do that all my life and now I realize it WAS something all along! And it was right in front of me all these years!! Powerful, wonderful, thought-provoking and simplistic at the same time! Bravo!
This is an amazing work of art. I applaud you! Well, done! 🙂 🙂
powerful. stirring. brilliant.
I was feeling particularly, “Or was it that nothing was intrigued with me?” this evening until you stopped by and visited me. Thanks.
…and yet, that “nothing” is so much! Marvellous piece!
Nothing to get excited about, but in its own way anything but nothing ! Very well done. The root basis for a philosophy of life that any nihilist would be proud to expand upon…
Loved this. Just wanted to express that.
I like this. I can’t put my finger on why. But I do. Thank you for making me think today, and think deeply! ~ Sheila

I beg of you the favor, a few moments of your time for such a lovely poem. I have never re-blogged another’s work before, surely this one deserves the honor of being the first.
I give you no praise for such a piece, I believe that would be counter-productive. I have nothing to say, so I will simply nod my head knowingly in your direction and remain silent.
I feel nothing but heart melting love for this right now.
Not for nothing, but this is great.
Haunting in the best of ways 🙂
So, remember. You are not special
You are nothing at all, just like me.
At least one thing was learned.
It’s not a total loss.
One of my favorite things I have read in a while. Great job! Very though provoking.
In awe, what a beautifully written piece.
Wow!! This poem is one of the best pieces I’ve read in a long time. Nothing I could say right now would give it its due. Well done!!!
Full of eloquent emptiness…. 😉
We all just are a small part of a gigantic universe. Awesome poem!
I’d say that about sums it up, but I have nothing to say…
Never before has nothing been so much!
This is nothing but GENIUS! 🙂 Love it. Your ability to see a big picture combined with the sense of humor is a gift to humanity. Thank you.
Very clever! I like how you wove the words in this poem. 🙂
Wow Élan ….you have a powerful gift , stunning and provoking me to ” nothingness ” ….thank you …love , megxxx
