Ask a poet for a page turner,
She’ll offer you a page
That can’t be turned
We tend to view life as linear , as a series of events. Like art, it has depth.
Your happiness is a craft that travels within no time restriction.
Your sadness is only one measurement among an infinity of calculations.
When looking at life or art, there’s more to it,
Than the appraisal of time.
Beautifully crafted and well-chosen words.
Thx for checking out my blog by the way and hopefully you liked it. I have been trying to make it more personal and post more often. By making it more open I am hoping to connect and relate to others so others can talk and express their feelings and opinions without the fear of being judged. If you have any feedback for me please don’t hesitate to tell me xxxx

Whoa. Pretty sure you just gave us a quote that can’t be “turned.” #micdrop

Love your interpretation of time and it’s depths for a poet.

Lovely poem, and thanks for reminding me about “The Third Policeman”. A classic. “Is it about a bicycle?”

There have been several non-linear novels. Three more you might investigate are Coetzee’s Dusklands, Martin Amis’s Time’s
Arrow, and perhaps my fave, Flann O’Brien’s Third Policeman. But I’m also writing about how we view art and life, not only how it’s represented. Which, as a statement written within the ticking seconds of a clock, deconstructs itself upon its gesture.
