Love this image. The dual views in one picture captures the eye and imagination. About the poem with it and the line about birds flying into the glass….. it totally reminded me of an extremely boring article I had read about a scientist trying to create window tints to keep birds from flying into windows. That, like the window, is a paradox. It is not a hard stretch to apply human emotions to that state of being, an emotional paradox.

Perhaps, birds, like humans, can become deceived by something that appears to be open, welcoming, but in reality is really a closed-off space.
